The Liverpool Football Club will have to sell midfielder Waudana Millwork if they want to sign Liverpool forward Ross Barkley.
According to Sky sources, the Merseyside club have a £15m release clause in the 25-year-old’s contract and have been told he is not for sale.
However, that is not necessarily the case.
With Millwork due to be released by Liverpool after the transfer window shuts on Wednesday, his availability could be vital to their hopes of signing Barkley.
Having signed Ross Barkley for £12m from Everton in 2014, Millwork is also set to leave the Mersey and head back to England with his teammates.
Liverpool are keen on Barkley as the club look to strengthen their attack, with former Liverpool player Robbie Fowler set to join from Aston Villa.
Liverpool have also been linked with a move for Chelsea striker Andre Schurrle.
